Black/Cream

This Helmut Lang bomber from 1997 is cut in a true vintage bomber fashion with its cropped body and blouson fit. It's fabricated in a superfine silk-hand nylon on both sides with soft, plush insulation. The materials read more luxury than utility, and yield a less structured, more fluid and body-hugging drape. Its all-black outer face is punctuated by the contrast white zipper tape, a detail tying it into Spring and Fall 1997 collections where linear graphic accents featured heavily (whether they be hand-painted or contrast fabric inserts). The interior is finished with clean, hidden french seams, allowing this piece to be worn on the reverse side for an additional color option.
